Saturday – Nairn Regatta
13 Findhorn club members took part in the Nairn club’s first regatta. For 4 members it was their first regatta. We entered 8 out of the 9 races, though took part in 7 as we ran into some technical issues and thanks to Alan from Strathpeffer who came to out aid, we were able to carry on the afternoon. 2 medals were won, a silver and bronze, in the fun race where crews were swapped about in other clubs skiffs. Big thanks to other club members for coming along to support and to all friends and family who also came to cheer us along. A great day out with our pals from Nairn, who did a fab job on a sunny day but challenging sea.
Sunday – Lossiemouth Skiff Launch
Sunday saw a small group travelling to Lossiemouth for the club’s new skiff launch. The sea was a little choppy but it was a fun occasion and great to see the Lossiemouth Club’s youth crew in action.
